About John Henry – Co-Author At Flooring Flow

Hello, I’m John Henry. Before I got into floors, I worked as a landscape architect. I loved designing outdoor spaces, making gardens look beautiful, and planning where trees and flowers should go. It was a job that let me use my hands and creativity a lot.

But when my wife, Emma Sophia, and I bought our first house, we faced a big challenge. The floors were a mess! There were cracks, old tiles, and some rooms even had carpets that looked like they were from another century.

Now, we could have hired someone to fix all of it, but we thought, “Why not give it a try ourselves?” So, we started learning about flooring.

It was different from designing gardens, but I found that many skills from my old job helped. Like how to plan things out, how to choose the right materials, and how to make sure everything fits together nicely.

With time and practice, Emma and I got really good at fixing floors. Our friends and family started asking for our help with their own homes.

And that’s how we went from fixing our own floors to helping others. It’s been a fun journey, and we even started this website flooringflow.com to share what we’ve learned throughout the past years. If we can do it, so can you!
